Truth to hold onto
Scripture never shames the fearful. Again and again God answers fear with His nearness — not with an explanation, but with Himself. You are not asked to be brave alone; you are held by a hand stronger than what frightens you.
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
A short prayer
Lord, my heart is afraid, and You already know it. Thank You that You do not turn away from fear. Quiet what is racing inside me and remind me that You are here, holding me. I choose to trust You in this moment, even while I still feel afraid. Amen.
