Anger often grows where something was unfair, unkind, or unhealed. God is not afraid of your anger. He invites you to bring it to Him before it spills out somewhere it will do harm.

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.”
Ephesians 4:26, KJV
Truth to hold onto
God distinguishes the feeling from what we do with it. Anger itself is not the sin — carrying it into the night, letting it harden into bitterness, is what wounds us. He offers to take the weight before it becomes a wall.
“Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.”
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”
A short prayer
God, I am angry, and I do not want this to turn into bitterness. Show me what is underneath it — the hurt, the fear, the injustice. Guard my mouth, soften my heart, and let me lay this down before the day ends. Amen.
