You selected: Needing direction

Standing at a crossroads is uncomfortable. God is not hiding the way from you.

Featured Scripture

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV

Truth to hold onto

Direction in Scripture comes to those who acknowledge God in the ordinary as well as the crossroads. A lamp for the feet is enough — you are not asked to see the whole road before you move.

More Scripture for this

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalm 119:105, KJV

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it.

Isaiah 30:21, KJV

A short prayer

Lord, show me Your way. Quiet the voices competing for my decision. I lean on You rather than my own understanding, and I will take the step You light. Amen.
