Truth to hold onto
Jesus knows rejection from the inside. And the one who was refused by people was chosen by God — as you are. He takes you up when others put you down, and never casts out anyone who comes.
“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.”
“Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.”
A short prayer
Lord, I feel unwanted. Thank You that You understand rejection and that You never turn me away. Heal what this has done to me, and root me in belonging to You. Amen.
