Truth to hold onto
Scripture never tells the sad to pretend. It tells the truth: the night is real, and it is not the end. God trades beauty for ashes — not by erasing sorrow, but by outlasting it.
“And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.”

A short prayer
Lord, I am sad today. Sit with me in it. I am not asking You to hurry me along — only to stay. Carry me toward morning at Your pace. Amen.
