Pressure from every direction wears a person thin. God does not add to the pile; He offers to take from it.
Featured Scripture
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
1 Peter 5:7, KJV
Truth to hold onto
The word is cast — thrown, handed over, not politely set down nearby. God can hold what you cannot, because He genuinely cares for you and not merely for what you produce.
“In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.”
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
A short prayer
Father, the pressure is heavy. I cast it on You — not once, but as many times as I need to today. Order what matters, quiet what does not, and keep my mind stayed on You. Amen.
