Truth to hold onto
God always makes a way of escape — sometimes it is a door, sometimes a person, sometimes simply leaving the room. Grace is available before you fall, not only after.
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
A short prayer
Lord, I am being pulled toward what will harm me. Show me the way of escape, and give me the courage to take it. Meet me with grace, not condemnation. Amen.
