Guided Prayer
One · Pause
Be still for a moment. Breathe in slowly, and out slowly — three times. There is no hurry here, and no one is watching.
Be still, and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10 · KJV
Two · Check in
Name the worry plainly, without arguing with it. What is the fear underneath it?
Three · Scripture · King James Version
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6–7 · KJV
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
1 Peter 5:7 · KJV
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Matthew 6:34 · KJV
Four · Reflection
Scripture does not shame you for being anxious; it invites you to hand the weight over. Peace here is not the absence of the problem, it is God guarding your heart while the problem is still unresolved.
Five · Pray this
Lord, I bring You what is spinning in me. I cannot carry tomorrow and today at the same time. I give You this worry — not once, but as many times as I need to. Guard my heart and my mind with a peace I cannot manufacture. In Jesus' name, amen.
Six · Now in your own words
Say aloud: 'Lord, I am handing You ______.' Repeat it slowly three times.
Seven · Private journal
What am I afraid will happen? What has God actually promised me?
Eight · One practical step
Choose the one next small thing in your control, do it, and leave the rest until tomorrow.
Before you go
Anxiety is not a lack of faith. You just prayed, and you were heard.
