Guided Prayer
One · Pause
Be still for a moment. Breathe in slowly, and out slowly — three times. There is no hurry here, and no one is watching.
Be still, and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10 · KJV
Two · Check in
What have you been doing faithfully that has not borne fruit yet?
Three · Scripture · King James Version
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9 · KJV
“Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”
Psalm 31:24 · KJV
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 · KJV
Four · Reflection
'In due season' means the harvest is not late, even when it feels like nothing is growing. Waiting on God renews strength you cannot manufacture.
Five · Pray this
Father, I am worn down. Strengthen my heart. Keep me from giving up on what You have called good, and renew my strength as I wait on You. In Jesus' name, amen.
Six · Now in your own words
Tell God where you are tempted to quit, and ask for strength for one more day.
Seven · Private journal
What I am tired of, and one reason I started in the first place.
Eight · One practical step
Do one small faithful thing today, without measuring results.
Before you go
Faithfulness in a slow season still counts. You have not wasted it.
